We took the opportunity of taking the tour on a trip to Liverpool. It was fantastic to be in the inner sanctum of Anfield and something neither of us would have missed.

Angel of the NorthList Item 2
On the way to Newcastle we passed the Angel of the North, stopped and had a walk up to see it up close. Its BIG, will post pictures here soon

Aysgarth FallsList Item 3
With its beautiful scenery and cascading waterfalls, this is a lovely stop-off on any trip, we even bought an Aysgarth Falls mug from the souveneir shop

BlackpoolList Item 4
Been to Blackpool many times over the years, but decided to treat Denise to a trip to the top of the tower, and then into the famous Tower Ballroom

Bridgewater Carnival
Been to see this brilliant carnival three times over the years and it never dissapoints. The details on every float is staggering, the choreography by the people on each float is superb, it really has to be seen to be believed, especially the 'Squibbing' at the end.

Britain's Got Talent Tour
Seen the tour three times now, at the SECC in Glasgow, Leeds and Manchester. Over the years BGT has produced some great acts ( some poor ones too ) , but always good to see the acts live.
The Glasgow show was the year of Susan Boyle

Coronation St tour.
Been on the tour twice, both times at the old, original set and it was like walking back into history. Now the set has been moved to its new location I urge anyone who loves the show to go visit.

Cornwall
At the farthest western part of the Uk is the gorgeous county of Cornwall. I lived and worked there for 4 years and another fabulous county.

The Dales
Being a Yorkshireman, I am fiercly proud of my county and the beauty and fantastic scenery Yorkshire has to offer.
We did a mini-tour visiting a lot of the famous places and sights.

Dublin
We spent a week in Letterkenny in Northern Ireland and one of the day trips we did was to Dublin, wow, what a busy city Dublin is, so much history and the vibe is legendary.

Dunhill Links Golf
Each year the worlds top golfers, along with famous celebrities descend on the famous golf courses of Scotland to compete in the annual Dunhill Links Tournament. We were there in 2010.

The Emirates Stadium tour
We visited the Arsenal FC stadium soon after it had opened, Arsne Wenger was still manager and it was amazing to see behind the scenes of a multi-million pound club.

The Emmerdale Tour
We did the interior set of the tour a few years ago, both of us being avaid Emmerdale fans it was a must to see. Recently Denise did the outside tour of the actual village. Well worth a visit.

Etihad Stadium
Went to the Manchester City ground to watch them pulverise Huddersfield Town, but their stadium is pure money. Everywhere you look you see expense, its amazing.

Denise and I went for a weekend up to Newcastle, watched a game at St.James Park and had a good time walking around Newcastle, and played bingo at Gala in Gateshead.

Being a Huddersfield Town FC season ticket holder Ive been to the ground hundreds of times over the years. Not only to watch football, but pop concerts too.

Portsmouth Naval Docks
Visited the Naval Docks in Portsmouth. Fantastic to visit and walk on the old ships, see original canons etc, really interesting day.

Mary Rose Exhibition
We visited the exhibition whilst at the naval docks and well worth the visit. I watched as Tog Mor raised the wreck out of the Solent and it was amazing

Scarborough
We stayed at a holiday park at Cayton Bay, just outside Scarborough. A lovely part of the East coast of England

Birmingham Hippodrome
We enjoyed seeing Jack & the Beanstalk ( Joe Pasquale & Letitia Dean ) Denise's first panto.

Giants Causeway
We had a week in Letterkenny in N.Ireland and a day trip to visit the incredible Gianst Causeway was a must.

Hawarth
We had a visit to Haworth and Bronte country. A charming little town, quaint a very steep hill, and the world famous Bronte Parsonage.

The Falkirk Wheel
If youve never seen the Falkirk Wheel, think a canal and a lock twinned with Star Wars.
Am amazing piece of technology, you must see this.

Gino deCampo
Whilst visiting Harrogate we called into Gino DeCampo's restaurant. We had a very good meal and would recommend.
